Meet the hybrid e-commerce platform that merges a used-goods classifieds system with a traditional marketplace for new products. We give sellers the ultimate flexibility: you can host your own store on a custom domain, push your products to our shared catalog, or do both at the same time. Under the hood, the platform is insanely fast (hitting a 100/100 PageSpeed score), meaning your listings load instantly and are perfectly optimized for search engines right out of the gate.
What happens if you mix Amazon, Shopify, and a Classifieds board into one platform? That’s the exact question we asked ourselves when we started building Towami.
Sellers usually have to choose: build a standalone store on a custom domain (like Shopify) OR fight for attention in a shared catalog (like Amazon/Craigslist). We decided to give them both. You get your own domain, but your products also sync to a global marketplace.
On top of that, we obsessed over performance. The whole thing runs incredibly lean and hits a 100/100 PageSpeed score so search engines love it.
I’ll be hanging out in the comments all day. What do you think of this hybrid model? Does the combination of standalone stores and a shared marketplace make sense to you?
Congrats on the launch. The custom domain plus shared catalog combo is a smart angle. One thing I'd love to see is a built-in reputation or trust score that carries across both new and used listings, so buyers browsing the shared catalog can quickly tell which sellers have a strong track record. That single badge would make the hybrid setup feel a lot safer to shop.

Who hunted Towami?
Towami was hunted by Antonio Towami. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
