We started working on Touring to satisfy a need that we had while travelling: we often felt like we had to either buy a guided tour (which is pre-made and not entirely personal) or walk around staring at our phone to find information through articles and blogs. ⚙️ How does it work? Touring leverages generative AI, geolocation, 3D spatial information, speech synthesis and human-curated content to produce real-time insightful narrations tailored to you. We know of a possibly annoying bug on the simulator: on iOS - even if you turn on the volume - the audio is not reproduced when you visit a location. Exiting silent mode (with the physical side button) solves the issue. Sorry, we could not manage to fix it in time 🙏🙏

Please say you have thought about accessibility? Can I search for hotels with accessible rooms or wheelchair friendly restaurants for example?

Great Idea, I mostly rely on Tripadvisor to check what to do whenever I'm travelling but having the ability to dive deeper into what I'm actually seeing is great. Awesome job team, hope you make it far with Touring!

I, as a person, who doesn't like to go sightseeing in groups, really like the idea behind your app. It's indeed great to have an opportunity to just plug the headphones in and go around a city, listening about its history and interesting spots. I have one question — do you plan to add more languages?

I think captures real need. You want to explore different countries and you always want to find authentic "local-like" places. Nice work!

This looks supercool! It is like your personal tour guide. Having access for hotel reservation, flights booking, make travelling partners would be supercool. Not sure if you already have this integrated.

Oh, is this for real? The presentation looks really cool, but I have a question, I saw in the presentation that some of it is based on AI generation, so is the part based on AI generation guaranteed to be accurate and real?
