I'm the founder of Heritage Inc., the company behind TopoSnap.
TopoSnap began as a tool for checking architectural drawings. During development, I found that reliable drawing review depends on much more than validation: files need to load correctly, references need to be preserved, and revisions need to remain traceable.
I built TopoSnap as a native 2D CAD application in C++20. It supports DWG/DXF workflows, external references, blocks, familiar editing commands, area calculations, and PDF output.
One of its central features is TopoGit, a version management system for CAD drawings. It lets you record snapshots, compare two revisions side by side, restore an earlier version to a separate folder, and organize committed drawings into a versioned sheet set.
