Hello Product Hunter Community!😊 I’m super excited to introduce you to ToonTalk, a project close to our hearts that’s all about making your kid’s childhood even more awesome. 🚀 A bunch of us on the team are parents or about to become parents, and we know how curious kids are about everything and how they love to chat. But life gets busy, and it’s not always easy to be there for all their questions. So, we came up with ToonTalk, an AI buddy that’s not only fun but also teaches them cool things. ToonTalk is way more than just an app—it’s a conversation starter, a storyteller, and it’s there to answer all those “whys” that kids have. ✨ It’s like a friend to your child and a bridge that connects you to their world. We’ve made sure ToonTalk is super safe for your little ones, with parental controls and anonymous data. You can keep an eye on their chats and really get to know what they’re feeling and what they’re good at. It’s like being there for every smile and frown, and you can relax knowing it’s all secure.🛡️✨ We’re always open to feedback to enhance ToonTalk. Please give it a try with your kids and let us know what you think. If you enjoy our app, we’d be thankful for your support and any shares. 🙏

ToonTalk looks like a creative and engaging platform that transforms programming into a more visual and playful experience, potentially making coding more accessible for children and beginners. And how does ToonTalk ensure that users progress from playful interaction to understanding more complex coding concepts?

Congrats! ToonTalk offers an innovative way for kids to learn programming by creating games in a fun, animated world. It blends puzzles, creativity, and logic, making the learning process more engaging for young minds.

This is pretty cool but how will this AI handle emotional talks with kids, also, any plans on adding more languages, it's really useful but I'm curious about those parts

Great idea for kids who love to chat but aren't we just giving them an excuse to spend more time on screens I mean what about real human interaction would be cool if it somehow encouraged kids to balance tech with outdoor playtime too

So we're letting AI be our kid's new best friend now, huh? What's next, robot nannies? 🙄

ToonTalk is fantastic for kids. For an even richer experience, consider integrating educational games to blend learning with all that fun.

ToonTalk sounds like an absolute game changer! As a parent, I totally get how kids can fire a million questions in a minute 🧠💥. It's refreshing to see an AI friend like this that not only chats but also helps us connect with their world. Love the focus on safety and parental controls—definitely crucial in this digital age. Kudos to @ahwakaz and the team for creating something that balances fun and learning! Can’t wait to see how this evolves. Going to give it a whirl with my little one and let you know the feedback! 🚀

Hey, interesting concept but are we really okay with letting AI replace real human interaction with our kids, what about the risks of over-reliance on tech, any thoughts on how to balance this?

Congrats on the launch, Ashwaka! ToonTalk sounds like a great way to connect with kids in a fun way. Can't wait to see where this goes!

I came across this app randomly and I'm kinda torn, on one hand it sounds fun and all but should we really be letting an AI handle our kids' questions, I mean what happened to real conversations and actual storytelling

Isn't there something kinda creepy about letting an AI have long chats with your kid, how do we really know what it's teaching them and doesn't it just make us even more disconnected as parents 🤔

Glad were finally looking at automating the parent out of parenting. Also the options in your image of the "100% Safe" screen list military, political, and sex. What? We should be encouraging our kids to unplug not send them deeper down the rabbit hole. Products like this make me so sad

Children's language development period is really heavy. Seizing this critical period can greatly help children's language development ability. Not everyone can be a full-time mother and accompany their children during every critical period. This product can accompany little babies very well and answer ten thousand why questions.

This sounds interesting, @ahwakaz! How does ToonTalk handle conversations with sensitive topics that kids might bring up? Would love to know more about its approach to those discussions.

?makers can you share your evals so we can get a sense for the content guardrails you've built into the conversation space?

really interactive, Just curious what is in the backend like GPT or Claude Hiaku and mid-journey?
