56 free tools that run entirely in your browser: compress images to an exact KB target, convert HEIC to JPG, merge, split, rotate and watermark PDFs, strip EXIF/GPS data, pick hex colors, generate QR codes, format JSON. Nothing is uploaded — the processing happens on your device, so it works offline and is safe for passports, contracts and IDs. No sign-up, no watermarks, no file limits.

Hi Product Hunt 👋

I built Toolyard after getting annoyed one too many times: I needed to shrink a photo under 100KB for an online application form, and every "free" tool wanted me to upload my ID photo to someone's server, sit through an ad, then hand me a watermarked file.

That felt backwards. Compressing an image is math your browser can already do. So I built the tools that do it locally instead — the file is opened by your own browser, processed on your own machine, and never touches a server. No upload, no account, no watermark. Open the network tab and you'll see nothing leaves.

There are 56 of them now, across four areas:
• Image — compress to an exact KB target (100KB / 50KB / 20KB), HEIC→JPG, resize, crop, circle crop, watermark, EXIF/GPS remover
• PDF — merge, split, rotate, watermark, page numbers, delete/extract pages, images→PDF
• Color & design — hex from any image, color converter, favicon generator, signature maker
• Developer & text — JSON formatter, JWT decoder, base64, case converter, QR generator, password generator

The privacy part isn't a marketing line — it's the actual architecture. That's why it also works with your Wi-Fi off, and why people use it for passports, contracts and IDs.

Things I'd love feedback on:
1. Which tool is missing that you keep searching for?
2. Anything that breaks on your browser/device? (Safari edge cases especially)
3. Is "no upload" clear enough on the page, or does it read as just another claim?

It's free and stays free — ads cover the hosting. Happy to answer anything about how the client-side processing works.

Who hunted Toolyard?

Toolyard was hunted by Sungchul Kim. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
