Hi Product Hunt — I built ToolVerity because AI directories often mix editorial rankings, affiliate incentives and paid placement without making the difference clear.
ToolVerity launches with 329 AI tools across 114 categories. People can search by practical use case, compare alternatives and see pricing models. Tool owners can claim and correct their pages for free.
We also offer clearly labeled Featured placements, but payment never changes the editorial description or allows an irrelevant tool to outrank a better match.
I’d love feedback on three things:
1. What evidence makes an AI directory trustworthy?
2. Which categories or use cases are still missing?
