toolsholic
Everyday tools that run entirely in your browser privately
Toolsholic packs 129+ offline browser tools — 45 PDF (merge, split, compress, sign, redact, watermark), 30 image (compress, resize, convert, upscale), 13 developer (JSON formatter, regex tester, JWT decoder, hashing), plus converters, text tools, calculators, and business docs. Nothing uploads: all processing stays on your device, so no limits, no watermarks, no accounts — free, private, and works even offline.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built this because I kept doing the same thing and feeling uneasy about it: uploading a contract or a payslip to a random site just to compress it or convert it.
Every one of those tools works the same way — you hand over the document, then trust a privacy policy. I wanted the version where that step does not exist.
So toolsholic does all 114 tools in the browser tab. There is no backend. Your file is opened by your own machine, processed by your own CPU, and saved back to your own disk. Nothing is transmitted, which is why it also works offline.
The honest trade-off: the first page load is a bit heavier, because the processing code has to reach you. After that it is instant, and there are no limits beyond what your device can handle.
Happy to answer anything technical. And genuinely: tell me which tool is missing.
Really liked the privacy-first approach here! Being able to use these tools directly in the browser without uploading files is genuinely useful. The offline functionality is a great bonus too.
Curious how you're handling the heavier stuff like PDF OCR or image upscaling fully client-side, WASM builds of the underlying libs? Also, does the first-load weight scales with the full 129-tool bundle or if it's code-split per tool. Great initiative either way, the privacy-first angle is a real gap in this space. Interesting stuff
