I'm Abdul Rehman, the maker of ToolCrate. Super excited to share this with you today!
**The problem I was trying to solve:**
Every time I needed a simple tool — compress an image, convert a PDF, generate a QR code — I had to:
❌ Sign up for another account
❌ Watch a 30-second ad
❌ Upload my personal files to some random server I've never heard of
❌ Hit a "file size limit" that pushed me toward a paid plan
I just wanted to get one small thing done. That's it.
**So I built ToolCrate.**
It's a collection of 15+ free browser-based tools that solve everyday problems without any of that friction.
**The key thing: nothing is ever uploaded.**
Every tool runs entirely as JavaScript in your browser. Your files never touch a server. You can literally disconnect your internet after the page loads and everything still works. Try it — no other tool site does this.
