Tool Inventory
Know what you own, where it is, and when it needs service.
Tool Inventory was built to be useful without feeling like enterprise software. Track tools and equipment by location, organize storage with QR-coded bins, record serial numbers and values, and keep everything searchable. Optional add-ons expand it into maintenance, consumables, job tracking, tool checkout and storage planning when you need them.
I originally started building Tool Inventory for myself after buying a bunch of higher-value woodworking tools. I realized that if I ever had a fire or theft, I'd have a hard time even remembering everything I owned, let alone serial numbers, values and where everything was stored.
It started as a pretty simple inventory idea and kept growing as I found more things I wanted it to handle — QR bins, equipment maintenance, consumables, job tracking and tool checkout.
Eventually I figured I might as well put it out publicly and see if it's useful to anyone else. It's still a project I'm actively improving, so feedback is definitely welcome.
