One synced account across web, iOS and Android. Free to start, no card needed.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I started learning Chinese and hit the same wall twice. First: I'd learn 30 words in a week and forget 20 of them by the next. Second: every tool I tried covered exactly one slice — a flashcard app here, a grammar reference there, a chat bot somewhere else — and none of them knew what the others had taught me. Tomyo is my attempt to fix both. Everything you touch — a word, a grammar rule, a character component — goes into one spaced-repetition schedule. Words come back in five different shapes (recognize it, type the pinyin, write the character, complete a sentence, take it by ear), because recognizing 谢谢 on a card and producing it yourself are very different skills. The AI dialogues are the part I'm most attached to: they're generated from the words you already know, at your HSK level, so you're never reading a wall of unknown characters — you're seeing your own vocabulary do actual work in a conversation. There's also a daily writing journal (write two sentences in Chinese, keep the streak), HSK 1-6 word sets, 448 grammar rules, 214 radicals and a chengyu collection. It runs on web, iOS and Android with one synced account. Free to start. I'd genuinely love feedback from anyone learning Chinese — especially on where the review load feels too heavy or too light. Happy to answer anything in the comments!
