Hi Product Hunt, I'm Travis, a solo developer. Toldari is a private, local-first app for staying close to the people who matter. For each person you keep the easy-to-forget things (their interests, important dates, the follow-up you meant to circle back on), and it gives you a gentle nudge when it's been too long. We don't have feeds, metrics, or distractions. Just reminders for the people that matter. Privacy is the architecture, not a setting. Your people, notes, and reminders live on your device. I can't read your data, so there is nothing to mine or sell. The optional Premium features that hold your data (encrypted backup, private profile sharing that expires on your terms) are end-to-end encrypted, so they stay readable only by you. The meeting helper and place suggestions only ever handle small planning details, like proposed times and places, never your notes. The model is simple: free to download, and every core feature is included for 14 days. If it earns a place in your life, the core app is a one-time $4.99 purchase, yours forever. If you decide not to buy, nothing is held hostage: everything you added stays visible and export is always free. Premium is $5.99/month or $49.99/year with a 7-day free trial. I'd love your feedback, especially on the privacy model. Happy to answer anything.

Love the local-first angle here, that's basically the thing that sold me on it. One thing though, would be really nice if you could tie a contact to specific events or goals like remembering to wish them happy birthday or check in after they mentioned a big interview. A little context right next to the nudge would make it feel way more personal than just "it's been 30 days."

honestly the local-first approach here is really refreshing, exactly what I want from something this personal. one thing that would actually push me to premium though is letting me set custom nudge intervals per person, like some friends I want to catch up with monthly and others I'm fine checking in twice a year. would make the reminders feel way more natural than a blanket timer.
