I started this because I wanted to know my total AI usage — a fun weekend idea, I thought. It wasn't.
First I built a Chrome extension to track Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini in the browser. Then I realized the AI I actually use most — Antigravity IDE, Claude Code — isn't in a browser at all, so the extension was blind to it. Neither piece alone tells the truth about your usage, so I built a local app for the IDE/CLI side too.
19 days end to end, ~50M tokens burned just building it (you can see my own live profile here: https://tokenez.tech/app/?s=55ce...). The tracking logic was the easy part — the Chrome Web Store review took 5 days, and getting the desktop app's first run to not feel broken took longer than everything else combined.
