I’m an indie developer and a dad to a 4-year-old daughter. Like many parents, I used to struggle with everyday routines. Getting my daughter out of bed in the morning, brushing her teeth, getting dressed, or cleaning up toys often meant endless reminders and a lot of waiting.
I wanted to find a better way — something that would make these daily tasks feel less like chores and more like fun. So I built Tocky for my daughter. It combines colorful visual timers, cheerful music, and playful rewards to help kids understand time and stay engaged.
And it actually worked! My daughter started getting things done with fewer reminders, making our daily routines much easier. Seeing that change inspired me to share Tocky with other families.
