Hello, everyone! 👋 I'm Ahmed, co-founder and CEO of Fragment, makers of Toaster. I'm really excited to launch our tool on Product Hunt today! 🎉 We've been testing a bunch of Figma prototypes with our early adopters over the past few months, doing mostly unmoderated tests. In this whole process, one thing missing for us was better analytics. We wanted to have deeper insights into how people used the prototype and if they were successful or not. So that's exactly what we built. We call it Toaster! 🍞 Here is how Toaster works – you simply copy the link to the prototype directly from Figma and paste it into Toaster. We convert this link into a new "tracking link" that gives you the following metrics: ✻ The number of views of the prototype over time. ✻ Details about the user's device, OS, and the location where they viewed the prototype. ✻ Details about the "usage session," like how long people spend on each screen of the prototype, where people dropped off, etc. ✻ The full recording of how people used the prototype, with all their interactions highlighted. We built Toaster to satisfy our own need for better analytics for Figma, and I hope you find it useful as well. Let us know if you have any feedback – thank you for your support. Also, a huge thank you to @fmerian for hunting us! Really appreciate your support. 🙏

Great idea! We use hotjar right now for testing prototypes, but of course they have to be built for that to work. Something like this would allow us to get feedback way earlier.

Congrats on the launch! I like how simple yet specific and helpful your product is.

This one looks super interesting for a designer, but can product marketing team use it as well? Do you have plans to add something like "heatmaps" or "clicks" areas?

Congratulations @fmerian @geek_1001 @sir_shipalot on the launch of Toaster! This tool is great for understanding how people interact with Figma prototypes.

Wow, this Figma prototype analytics tool looks like a game-changer! 🎉 Kudos to the team for creating something so helpful for designers. I can't wait to try it out! What's your favorite feature?

Wow, Toaster seems so useful! Congratulations on your launch, @geek_1001 and Team! Let's have a closer look at it together, @hadjimina. We could potentially use it.

a simplified google analyitcs for figma? cool, but it is useful and solves a real problem?

Congrats on your launch @geek_1001 and @sir_shipalot! We are Figma power users and I feel like your product could help us a lot better in testing prototypes, will check it out soon!

This is such a game-changer for unmoderated testing! Been struggling with getting meaningful data from Figma prototypes forever, and the simple copy-paste tracking link setup is exactly what I needed. Love that it shows where users drop off and full interaction recordings - no more guessing if testers actually found that hidden menu or why they got stuck. Already sharing this with my design team! 🍞✨

Huge fan of this! top 3 of the day for sure! i would love to make it even more simplier, maybe if you have like an navbar icon like the wifi icon on the mac, where if you are on any figma file yould just clikc this icon and have the Toaster link already linked to the project gets copied direclty for you to share... i would love to have it like this without actually changing screens/app from figma. I hope this helps

Hey Hunters! I hope this toasty treat makes your day a little better 🍞 I'm co-founder of Fragment, and together with @geek_1001 we've shipped Toaster to give you insights into how you Figma prototypes are viewed, what your testers are doing and who they are. You can read Ahmed's comment about to learn more, or head to tstr.design to start tracking directly from the homepage. Presentation analytics are coming soon too! 💹 PS: this comment was not written by AI, so I apologize for all the spelling errors in advance.
