hey product hunt, i'm akbar. i saw a video of someone building in a yc startup who pinned a live demo-day countdown to their browser new tab. could not stop thinking about it, so i built a version anyone can use. tminus replaces your new tab with one big number counting down to your deadline (the decimals tick live). add your own logo or emoji, a subtitle, smaller secondary deadlines, and a few quick links. six backgrounds, four fonts. it is open source, has no accounts or servers, and stores everything locally. free forever. install: akbar.one/tminus code: github.com/AkbarDevop/tminus inspired by enzo conan's video. would love your feedback.

Who hunted tminus?

tminus was hunted by Akbar K. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
