We released a free simple editor template and a library of MIT-licensed React UI components for Tiptap. Drop in pre-built toolbars, menus, and more, or customize every detail. Includes a CLI to scaffold your editor UI in seconds.
Hi everyone 👋 Philip here from tiptap.dev! While many love the flexibility of Tiptap being headless, we heard one thing over and over: “I don’t want to build the UI from scratch.”
So we built an editor template and UI components for you.
Everything is MIT licensed, fully optional, and easy to customize. You can drop components into an existing setup, use our simple editor template, or scaffold everything with our CLI.
We’ll keep adding more templates and UI components (including some tied to Tiptap Cloud features like comments & version history).
Would love to hear your thoughts! What components should we build next?
Cheers ✌️
Philip
Love that you're giving back to the dev community with a free editor and components!
Congrats on the launch. We are using Tiptap to power our editor. React UI components can come in handy.
Wow, this is really big for adoption, it took a while for us to spin up custom editor and implement each editing button in the Toolbar, all the other specs are awesome (table/mobile support, open-source)! Will consider switching in near future for easier maintainability
Saves development time on rich text editors—looking forward to trying it! 😄
This React component library looks nice, and it's free and open source! Pretty useful for someone like me who often works on editor UIs.
It looks awesome! One advice if you record a video just 1-2 minutes I believe it can differentiate you from the others and people can easily see the added value. Good luck!
Great job @asuramus and @nick_hirche1! I don't think there is a more beautiful Editor on the market (I might be biased though 🤪)
