📞 Two-way call translation — hand an iPhone call to your Mac, pick "Tingdong Microphone" in any call app, and both sides are interpreted live. They hear your words in their language; you read (or hear) theirs in yours. The other person installs nothing.
🔒 Privacy that's structural, not a promise — audio streams through recognition and is gone. No recordings stored, never used for training, transcripts stay on your Mac.
💰 Simple pricing — $4.99/mo for 1000 credits (captions ≈ $0.30/hr, voice ≈ $1.50/hr). Every new Mac gets 100 free trial credits — no signup, no card.
Under the hood it took some genuinely hairy macOS engineering: a custom HAL audio driver, device-level echo cancellation so the translated voice doesn't feed back into your call, and Core Audio process taps to capture FaceTime/phone audio that screen-capture APIs can't see.
