YouTube Timestamps
YouTube timestamps right next to the video. Save your time.
The YouTube Timestamps extension neatly extracts time markers from the video description and places them into a clean sidebar right next to the player. What sets it apart: It seamlessly blends into the native YouTube interface, updates instantly as you watch, and lets you navigate long podcasts or tutorials with one click. It’s lightweight, completely local, and delivers a flawless user experience. Bonus feature: clicking any timestamp instantly skips the ads.
The inspiration behind this extension came from my own frustration. Like many of you, I watch a lot of long-form content on YouTube - podcasts, interviews, tutorials. YouTube has great time markers, but they are always buried deep inside the description box. Expanding the text every single time or scrolling down to find a specific topic felt like a massive waste of time and ruined the viewing experience.
I wanted a solution that was clean, fast, and completely unobtrusive. That’s why I built Timestamps. It neatly extracts time markers and puts them into a sleek navigation sidebar right next to the player, seamlessly blending into the native YouTube interface. It updates instantly, runs completely locally to respect your privacy, and as a huge bonus - clicking any timestamp automatically skips video ads.
No sign-up required, no email needed. Just install it with one click and start using it. I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and feature suggestions. How do you usually navigate long YouTube videos? Let’s chat in the comments! 👇

YouTube Timestamps was hunted by Immersium.code. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
