👋 Hey hunters I'm Rohan, the maker behind timebox.so! Here's a little bit about why I made it! 🧐 Problem I've been timeboxing for the past three years, ever since I read "Deep Work" by Cal Newport. Since then I've filled up over 7 notebooks with hand-drawn daily plans exactly as Cal describes in his book. But... I had no easy way to move to-do's to the next day, save to-do's for later, sync my schedule with my Google calendar, or keep track of how consistent I was... it was a mess! 🛠️ Solution So what did I want? I wanted Cal's timeboxing method online. That's it. And that is exactly what timebox.so is! 😊 Me I'm a SWE working from 9-5 on AI products for enterprise and 5-9 on indie projects! I spent about 2 months making this in my nights and weekends so feel free to let loose with constructive feedback, feature requests, bug reports, or anything else! 🌟 My Goal I really hope this site helps you become more productive and worry less :)

Timeboxing has always been a struggle for me because of the manual work involved. Does timebox.so offer any reminders or notifications to keep me on track?

This sounds super interesting, Rohan! I totally get the struggle of managing to-do's and schedules effectively when trying to implement a method like Cal Newport's timeboxing. I'm curious, have you thought about adding any features for team collaboration? It would be great if this could not only help individuals but also support remote work setups where accountability and shared schedules are vital. Additionally, what's your approach to ensuring that the user experience (UX) is as smooth as possible, especially considering the complexity of integrating multiple systems like Google Calendar? Looking forward to seeing how timebox.so evolves!

This is a really interesting approach, Rohan! I'm curious about how the accountability tracker works. Is it integrated with the tasks, or is it a separate feature? Also, any suggestions on best practices for using the Google calendar sync effectively?

Looks interesting, Rohan! How do you plan to ensure the accountability tracking feature stands out from other productivity tools? Would love to know more!
