So, I saw this new time tracking tool, it’s got tags and notes and doesn’t need sign up which is pretty nice but I kind of wonder if it’s really solving any new problems or just adding another app to clutter our devices, I mean there are already so many time trackers out there, and this one’s from a solo developer so I’m curious about support and updates and how reliable it’ll be in the long run, seems useful but might just be more hassle than it’s worth, anyone else feel the same🤔
Congrats Tirth, this seems like a super handy tool, I wish more apps made time tracking this simple tho I wonder how you handle potential syncing issues between devices can you share a bit more on that?
I came across this new time tracker kinda randomly while browsing and I've gotta say, I'm not entirely convinced it solves "real pain points" for everyone, I've seen similar apps that do the same thing and a bit more, plus no sign-up required is cool but makes me worry about data privacy, would love to see more info on that👀
@tirthd Thanks for creating a tool that simplifies time tracking so effectively. The local data storage and no sign-up requirement make it a very user-friendly option.
Okay, I stumbled upon this tool while browsing, and honestly, it seems pretty basic, no signup is cool but makes me wonder, how secure is it actually. Also, how can this be useful for folks juggling multiple projects and teams, any plans for better integration options?
It might be helpful to include a feature for setting and tracking goals or deadlines. This could add another layer of functionality for managing time more effectively.
Congrats on the launch, tirthd, while the concept sounds interesting, I gotta ask, how secure is it really if no sign-up is needed, and what's the backup plan if the sync fails don't think I'll use it without a clear answer
I just happened to come across this new time tracking app through an ad and decided to give it a shot, tbh while the no sign-up needed and local data feature is kinda interesting, there's also this weird feeling of missing some essential elements, like how about adding more integrations with other productivity tools, any thoughts on that?
I'm not really seeing the need for another time tracking app I mean there are so many already and while it’s cool that no sign-up is required and data stays local it feels like a basic feature now rather than a standout one maybe adding some kind of more unique value like better customization or integrating with popular tools would help what do you think about adding voice command or maybe even a slight gamification to make it more engaging
Just a quick note from my side, The initial setup for syncing across devices took a bit longer than expected. It’s still a great tool, but faster syncing would be a nice improvement.
Congratulations, @tirthd on launching Time Tag! It sounds like a powerful solution for track time with tags and notes.
I really like how this was created by a solo developer, really useful for keeping track of my time especially with no sign-up needed, ever considered adding a feature to track apps or specific web pages? reminds me of Toggl and Timely but feels more personal and straightforward, keep up the great work
I'm curious do you really think this will solve the problem for tracking specific apps or websites too, because if not it might be missing a key feature for a lot of users, and is there a way to customize the tags so they fit different work styles better, seems like there might be more potential here but it's a bit unclear, maybe worth considering adding more flexibility?
🎈 Congrats on the launch! Your journey is a great example of what dedication can achieve. Keep shining and reaching for more! 🌟 @tirthd
So I stumbled across this app through an ad, and have been playing around with it, I'm curious if it plans to address how to manage multiple projects simultaneously? it's decent but seems too basic for anyone juggling complex schedules, wondering if a collaboration feature might be in the works to make it more usable
Hey Tirth, I noticed you mentioned the option to sync across devices. How seamless is that process? Congrats on the launch!
