Greetings, wonderful people of the internet! We are thrilled to be part of this incredible community and officially announce the launch of our little passion project, Tiles.
OUR STORY

Christy and I crossed paths eight years ago at college, where we discovered our shared interests and love for building things. Last October, during a train journey, I excitedly shared with him an idea for a portfolio page with a captivating tiles layout, reminiscent of the Apple events summary slide. At that time, the only way to create such a portfolio was through custom website development. Christy loved the concept, and initially, we planned to create a Webflow template, which we successfully accomplished.
However, as we tested the template, we realized it lacked the versatility we desired. Then, like a stroke of magic, we both agreed to start from scratch and transform our creation into a full-fledged product.
We embarked on this journey in the same month, but progress was slow due to our busy day jobs. To our amazement, during this time, we noticed others sharing similar ideas on Twitter (proof that great minds think alike), and we even witnessed the launch of fantastic products like Bento that aligned with our vision. Although doubts about whether people would embrace our product crept in from time to time, we remained committed to the process, and today, we stand before you.

The tool has been nothing short of fantastic. I have a question, though. I've managed to set up my personal profile just fine, but I'm unsure how to go about creating a separate profile for my business. Is it currently possible to have two distinct profiles on the platform? I think this feature would be incredibly beneficial for users with both personal and professional requirements.

This is exactly what I was looking for. As a non-designer, standing out is hard, and this makes it easy. The designs are amazing.
Congratulations for the launch, I have tried many similar products in past, while most were able to do their job perfectly there was always something missing in terms of aesthetic and style, all of them looked very old fashioned and outdated, some were good but with limit features.
Tiles looks hella amazing and promising to me, tho I'm curious about how are you planning to monetize it?
Will it be normal subscription method with a base free tier or will you be adding ads?
