The hard part was making the numbers honest: pnpm shares packages across projects via APFS clones, so naive cleaners promise space they cannot free. Finally a tool that finds the pnpm store eating 40gb on my machine. The trash instead of permanent delete is a nice touch for the paranoid.
Love that cleanup always routes through the Trash instead of nuking files with rm -rf. That kind of small safeguard shows the team actually thought about the real chaos that hits a dev machine, not just the happy path.
