Hi PH 👋 Solo maker, first app. The premise: the lock screen is the one surface you always see. Tidbit puts something small and considered there each day — an affirmation, an exact KJV verse, a fact, a word in another language, or a line about practice and patience. You pick which kinds are in the mix and how often each one wins. Three things I sweated: 🔒 Privacy by construction, not policy. The app has no internet permission. All 4,600+ lines ship inside the app. No account, no ads, no analytics. Nothing can leave your phone — that's a property of the binary, not a promise in a policy. 📜 Content you can actually trust. Every verse is word-for-word KJV. Every Stoic quote was audited against the known fake-quote lists — the famous "You have power over your mind…" line isn't in the Meditations (it traces to a 1913 magazine), so it isn't in Tidbit. And for the original material, an adversarial pass dropped 32 of the first 230 lines as unconscious echoes of published work. 🎨 Eleven looks, each its own design — its own typeface, paper, and rules, from letterpress to a terminal. The layout engine measures and shrinks the whole card as one so long verses never overflow. Free on Android; iOS is a waitlist, not a date. I'd love feedback — kinds that are missing, looks you'd want, anything that feels off. I'll be here all day.
