Tickstem
Cron jobs, monitoring & status pages — under one API key
Tickstem bundles the infrastructure every web app needs — HTTP cron scheduling, uptime monitoring, heartbeat checks for silent job failures, email verification, and auto-generated status pages — all under one API key. Works on Vercel, Railway, Render, Fly.io, or any platform. Go, Node.js, and Python SDKs. MCP server for AI agents. No separate services. No per-tool billing. Free tier available.
Hey PH! 👋
I built Tickstem after getting burned one too many times by cron jobs that silently stopped running on Vercel. The job didn't error — it just never ran. I found out three days later when someone asked why their weekly report was missing.
That led me down a rabbit hole: cron monitoring, uptime checks, heartbeat monitoring (dead man's switch for jobs), email verification, and eventually auto-generated status pages — all things I kept rebuilding from scratch on every project.
So I bundled them under one API key. Go, Node.js, and Python SDKs, plus an MCP server so AI agents can manage jobs and monitors natively.
Happy to answer any questions about how it's built or how the different pieces fit together. 🙏
