The problem I kept seeing: small teams live in Slack or Teams all day, but their attendance and payroll tools make everyone open yet another app, remember another login, and check another dashboard nobody wants to check. So most small teams just... don't track it well, or wrestle with spreadsheets.
Tickin puts it where the team already is. You clock in with a slash command. Your manager approves leave from a DM. Payroll runs from the same place. For people who aren't in chat all day, there's a web app and a desktop tracker too.
