Efficiently handling media online has been a rewarding challenge. I could not find an existing solution that handled this correctly. Once I started digging in, the depth and technical opportunities kept me super engaged.
Providing such "commodity functionality" felt like this should just be free and open source for most use cases. There is a low cost paid option to cover higher usage, but should be unneeded for most uses.
