I run a 40K+ YouTube channel. I used to spend 30–45 min per thumbnail in Canva. Then I tried AI. My AI thumbnails started outperforming my handmade ones—consistently. So I built the tool I wish I had: drop your face, pick an inspiration, describe what you want. Done in seconds. That's Thumbfa.st.

Wasn’t expecting it. The first generation wasn’t what I wanted precisely but then I added “make sure to use my face” to the prompt and a beautiful thumbnail was generated.

A lot of creators care about keeping a consistent channel style over time. What controls does Thumbfa give to make sure thumbnails stay on-brand across different videos instead of feeling random or generic?

This is interesting — especially the “iterate until it feels right” angle. Thumbnail design is one of those things where speed + feedback matters more than perfection. Curious how you’re handling style consistency across a channel (or if that’s on the roadmap). Nice execution 👏

It sounds so easy to just drop in a face and get a thumbnail instantly! I’m mainly wondering if I can save my own presets or 'style' so all my thumbnails look consistent, and if there are any copyright issues when it mimics the style of other famous creators.

I love the idea of just grabbing inspiration from any YouTube thumbnail and letting AI do the rest. I wonder how much I can actually customize like, can I tell the AI to change just the text or the lighting after it generates the first version?

Wait, it says it's 100 times cheaper than hiring a designer? That sounds like a total game-changer for small YouTubers. I’m really curious if the AI can actually blend my face naturally into the background without it looking like a weird, cheap cutout.

Hey Melvyn, 30-45 min per thumbnail is brutal when you’re doing it over and over. Was there a specific video where you spent forever on the thumbnail, then saw an AI-generated one outperform it and thought okay, what am I even doing?

This resonates a lot. Thumbnails are one of those “high-leverage but time-sucking” tasks. If you’ve already proven performance uplift on your own channel, that’s a strong founder signal. Curious to see how well it generalizes across niches.

Great tool this solves a real pain for creators fast consistent thumbnails + cheap pricing is a huge win reels/shorts presets and topic based style suggestions would make it even stronger

Looks really good, kudos to you @melvynxdev ✨ I was thinking, why not going also for reels thumbnails? Completely different format and look & feel, but the system underneath would be the same Great job again :)

An unexpected response was received from the server.

Congrats on the launch!, btw how is it different from the general models ?

the "your face, every time" pitch is huge because getting consistent character models in Midjourney is still a pain. how does the tool handle different head angles or expressions when swapping onto a reference layout?

Big fan of tools that save time without adding complexity. Curious to try Thumbfast once it’s live

Will there be more models for generating images available? (rn, Nano Banana and GPT are available).

BTW, tried one image:

Nice job! Does it work with faces, or can I use other objects as a reference too?
