Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Misael, the solo builder behind ThoughtMatch.
I built this for a very personal reason. I've been teaching myself full-stack development, and while working on my startup dreams alone, I felt a massive lack of connection. I just wanted someone to talk to about coding learning strategies or whatever random thought I had in the moment.
Omegle proved that people inherently crave connection with strangers, but I felt like there was no platform designed to connect people based on vibes and shared mindsets.
So I built ThoughtMatch to make it possible. You type a single thought, and the engine instantly drops you into a live chat with someone thinking about the exact same topic.
It's built with Expo, React native, Supabase, and OpenAI embeddings to handle the semantic word matching.
