I made this site back in 2017 as a tribute to my favourite blogger and marketer, Seth Godin. It took me a few months of manually trawling Seth’s old blog, old Squidoo posts and old interviews to extract a decent list of recommendations. I wanted to create something long lasting. So, I scoured the web, scoured the Wayback Machine and pulled them all together into one place – This Is Broken.
Fast forward, the web of 2026 is a different place, but Seth's book recommendations are still on point. The recommendations directory is now updated with almost 500 books; sortable, searchable, discoverable.
