The Safari Guy builds a dedicated offline app for each of 14 African national parks, from Kruger and Etosha to the Kgalagadi and the Masai Mara. Each app contains offline GPS maps, a full illustrated guide to the species that actually occur in that park, road and rest-camp information, and a personal sighting logbook. Everything works with no mobile signal, and logged sightings stay yours even if a subscription ends.

When I'm on safari in Southern Africa I always disliked the fact that I needed paper maps, books of all the animals and other paper stuff in the car. I would like to focus on the nature and the animals. So I developed a serie of Apps for different Safari parks in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania that solve this problem. I would like to know what your experience is when going of safari and if my apps helps to solve some of your problems. And let's enjoy the nature and the beautiful animals & plants. The Safari Guy

Who hunted The Safari Guy?

The Safari Guy was hunted by Tjarko Kwee. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
