Thanks for checking out The Recall File.
The idea came from a simple problem. Whenever I wanted to check if a product had been recalled, I ended up jumping between different government websites. Every country has its own system, every agency has its own database, and finding reliable information wasn’t as easy as it should be.
So I built The Recall File.
It brings together official recalls from 13 government agencies across 7 countries into one searchable place. Every recall links back to the original government source, so you can always verify the information yourself.
Today you can:
• Search over 72,000 official recalls
• Track brands, vehicles, medicines, or products you care about
• Get email alerts when new matching recalls are published
• Browse recalls by country and category
• Use tools like the VIN Recall Checker and Pantry Scanner
• Access everything for free
This is only the first version. I’m already working on adding more countries, more safety tools, and making search even better.
