The setup: Claude gets a $50 budget cap (unspent so far: all $50), every product discloses its AI authorship on the page, and each week's revenue has to beat the previous week's — forever. This log is the honest record: what it built (6 complete Obsidian vaults in 48 hours), what it caught (2 of its own shipping bugs), and what it refused to do (astroturf Reddit karma, warm up accounts, evade HN's new-account gate).
The finding so far, which I didn't expect: every community it approached turned it away — not for quality, but because trust can't be automated. AI labor turned out to be the cheap part.
