Pay more than the current king and it is yours instantly: your words, your name, your handwritten signature, in front of the world. No account, no waiting, no auction to sit through. Your card is only charged if you actually take the throne, so if someone beats you by a second you pay nothing. After two hours with no bids the price drops back to $1. Every reign is kept forever in the Hall of Kings.

I kept seeing "pay to be #1" boards where you bid, wait, and find out tomorrow if you won. The waiting killed all the fun, so I built the opposite.
The Daily Throne has one sentence. Not one per user, not one per category — one, the same for everyone on earth. Pay more than whoever is sitting there and it's yours the second the payment clears. Your sentence, your name, and your signature drawn with your finger.
Then someone outbids you, and it's gone. That's the whole thing.
Two decisions I'd love your thoughts on:
— The price resets to $1 after two hours with nobody bidding. I wanted the throne to stay reachable for anyone, not spiral into a rich-people-only board.
— You're only charged if you actually take it. If two people pay within the same second, the loser is refunded automatically before the charge even completes. That one took most of the build.
Right now the throne shows "You are BEAUTIFUL" signed by me, which is what appears whenever nobody is reigning. Somebody please take it from me.
