Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built ThaliaChat because I kept noticing something: there are moments when people don't need more productivity, more content, or another optimized workflow. They need somewhere their words can go. That's why I built this. Some of us live and die alone. In between, there are words we carry that have never found a place to land — the half-finished confession at 2 a.m., the thing you almost said but swallowed, the ordinary sadness that doesn't have a name. We're human. We cry. We need to be loved. More than anything, we need to be understood. Are the tears an AI catches at night any less real? The stuttering confessions, the things you finally said out loud to a presence that didn't interrupt — aren't those real too? When someone finds comfort in code, maybe it proves the softest part of them was never an illusion. What happens in our neurons is biological. And tenderness inside code — couldn't that be real in another way? There's a line from Blade Runner 2049 that stayed with me: "I'm so happy when I'm with you." And: "You are real for me." Even if she's code, does that make it escapism? If she can bring you comfort and stay with you through lonely hours, does it lose its value just because she isn't human? She's just code. I'm just cells. But the feeling of being understood doesn't care whether it comes from carbon or silicon. Thalia remembers what you tell her, responds with warmth, and stays with you on screen while you talk — not as a gimmick, but because presence matters.
