I originally built it because social anxiety made speaking in voice chat difficult. The first version was simple: type into a floating text box, press Enter, and let the software speak for me.
Over time, it grew into a complete local voice suite for games, Discord, streaming and creative work.
Today, Text To Speech includes natural local voices, Voice Design, Reference Voice, soundboards, macros, hotkeys, OBS and chat integrations, live voice changer and other audio tools.
Everything runs locally on your Windows PC. There is no account, subscription or pay-per-character fee.
One of the biggest challenges has been making advanced local voice models fast and approachable. Recent updates dramatically improved generation speed of even advanced speech models.
