tessera
Self-hosted file & note sharing with auto-cleanup.
**Problems solved:** Tessera offers a self-hosted alternative to cloud-based sharing services, giving users control over their data, storage, and access. **Target users:** Individuals, developers, teams, and self-hosting enthusiasts. **Key features:** File, folder, code, Markdown, and link sharing; Web, CLI, and TUI interfaces; syntax highlighting and chart rendering; expiration and password protection; multiple storage backends; multi-bucket storage; Docker deployment and OIDC authentication.
I built Tessera because I wanted a self-hosted sharing platform that goes beyond simply uploading and sharing files. I wanted a place where files, folders, code snippets, Markdown notes, and links could all be shared seamlessly, while keeping full control over data and infrastructure.
