Tendre was inspired by a simple frustration: finding the right suppliers for an office project is still far more difficult and time-consuming than it should be.
If you’re planning an office fit-out, refurbishment or move, the process often starts with Google searches, recommendations, spreadsheets, emails and a lot of manual comparison. It can be difficult to know which suppliers are genuinely relevant to your project, what they offer, and who is actually a good fit.
We built Tendre to make that process easier.
Businesses can create an office project, describe what they need, and discover relevant suppliers in one place. Rather than spending hours researching the market from scratch, they can quickly find and compare companies suited to their requirements. For suppliers, it provides a more direct way to get in front of businesses that are actively planning projects and looking for help.
As we developed Tendre, our thinking evolved from simply creating a supplier marketplace to focusing much more heavily on the quality of the match between a project and a supplier. We’ve worked to make creating a project simple, reduce unnecessary friction, and make the platform useful for both sides of the marketplace rather than simply creating another directory.
This launch is an important step for us, but we still see Tendre as something we’ll continue improving based on how occupiers, landlords and suppliers actually use it. We’d love feedback from the Product Hunt community.
