What inspired me to build this: I blew a $150K Apex eval last year because I miscalculated my trailing drawdown at 3:55 PM. The dashboard showed my P&L, but I had no clear sense of my floor—the exact balance where the account dies. One bad close, and weeks of work vanished. I figured I couldn't be the only one doing mental math or juggling spreadsheets. The problem I was trying to solve: Prop firms all phrase rules differently—"trailing drawdown," "EOD lock," "daily loss limit," "consistency cap." The numbers on your dashboard don't always tell the full story until it's too late. I wanted a tool that gives one clear answer: "How much room do I actually have left before I breach?" No signals, no advice—just math. How the approach evolved: It started as a personal Telegram bot that just logged my EOD balances. Then I shared it with a few trader friends, and they asked for Topstep and MFFU presets. Then they wanted /payoutcheck and /compare. The biggest shift was realizing that EOD vs. intraday trailing drawdown work very differently—so I had to encode each firm's exact logic, not just a generic "floor" number. The nightly watchdog that flags stale rule pages came from a friend who got burned by a rule change no one noticed.
