There's a huge outbreak of Cyclospora in the United States right now. One of the main sources has been Taylor Farms fresh produce. Product recalls have been spotty and narrowly targeted to only the most irrefutable product lines.
Since factory farming and private label reselling have made it hard to really know where a vegetable may have been grown, or who may have processed it, I developed the Taylor Detector to help shoppers make more informed decisions when buying produce, both in-store and online.
The Detector flags confirmed Taylor Farms brands and private labels, but also warns against certain scenarios where some overlap may occur.
