Tax engine for 5 EU countries, every rate cited to the law
Maker here. I built Taxmora because I kept moving between European
countries (DE → NL → eight months in Lisbon → a UK contract) and every
move added a tax authority to my life.
Two accountants gave me three different answers. So I did what
developers do: I coded the tax law.
- 5 countries, 2025/2026, every rate cited to the statute
- 22 strategies with eligibility rules in code
- 977 tests — and the German calculator still shipped broken for the
first 3 hours (decimal point, €12,096 became €1,209.60)
The honest part is in the description: the UK test is 8/17, the
Spanish foral regimes are partial, Box 3 is outdated. That's why it's
€29 while it's in this state.
