I'm Jake. I run a tabletop game in Nashville. I built Tavern because I was the one person at the table who remembered, and every session opened with me retelling the last one. Tavern is a session journal, a campaign wiki, a map and character sheets, in the browser on a phone with nothing to install. Mention a name or a place and it links to that thing's own wiki page, with backlinks to every session it appeared in. Every player gets a notebook of their own, shared or private, and the GM gets a Combat Tracker. Every seat is free: unlimited campaigns, unlimited players. Lorekeeper, Tavern's one optional subscription, is an early feature in testing. Hand it a night's notes and it writes the wiki entries, the map pins and the recap from those notes only. Sign up now and I'll give you free access for a month, enabled on any table you're part of, for all players. It lapses by itself. Only the people the GM invited can read a campaign, Tavern claims no ownership of what a table writes, and it never trains AI on it. Tell me what's awesome, what sucks and what's missing.

Who hunted Tavern?

Tavern was hunted by Jake Handy. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
