Tired of the 30-minute "I don't know, you pick" argument? I built Tastebuddy to kill group indecision. It’s a fast, frictionless utility designed to take any group from hunger to a confirmed choice in under 2 minutes. How it works: • Consensus Logic: Find the one place everyone agrees on. • Quick Filters: Narrow by cuisine instantly. • U.S. Only: Verified local data for high accuracy. Stop wasting time on the sidewalk and get to the food.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Dillon, and I built Tastebuddy because my friend group was genuinely terrible at deciding where to eat. Someone always said "I don't care" and then vetoed every suggestion. It was a 30-minute process every Friday night. So I built the Tinder version for restaurants. Everyone swipes. When you both/all say yes to the same place, it's a match. Takes about 90 seconds from "let's go out" to "we're going to [restaurant]." It's free, no account required, and works on iOS and Android. A few things I'm proud of: — The match animation is genuinely satisfying (important) — You can also use it solo if you're just indecisive by yourself — The search radius is adjustable so it works whether you're in a dense city or the suburbs I've been building this in my spare time for about a year. Hit 1,000 downloads recently which felt significant for a solo project. Would genuinely love feedback from this community. What would make you actually use this regularly? Happy to answer anything.

Who hunted Tastebuddy?

Tastebuddy was hunted by Dillon Godwin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
