I built Tasko because taskiq never had a proper Flower equivalent, if you were running it in production, you were either flying blind or wiring up Grafana/Prometheus yourself just to see what your workers were doing. The problem that annoyed me most was debugging failed tasks: generic metrics tools show you a graph went red, not the actual traceback and args that caused it. My approach evolved a lot along the way, the broker support started as something I'd hardcode for Redis, but I realized early on it needed to be a plugin architecture (entry-point discovered adapters) so RabbitMQ, NATS, and others could be added without touching core. Still early and Redis-only for now, but the foundation's built to grow with whoever ends up using it.
