I’m 13 years old, and I created TaskGuy because I had the same problem that I think many families have: You do chores at home, but never get anything for it and if you ask, you parents say:”tomorrow” and then they forget. So I decided to build an app that solves that problem. TaskGuy combines pocket money and house chores and helps teach children, that they can earn money for their own efforts. For now it is available on the Apple App Store, but I am currently working on publishing it to Google.

I built TaskGuy to make household chores less stressful for families. Chores can often lead to confusion, arguments, and a lack of motivation. I wanted to create a simple app where parents could assign tasks and rewards while kids could track their progress and earn pocket money. During development, I focused on keeping the app simple, practical, and easy for the whole family to use. My goal is to turn everyday responsibilities into a more organized and rewarding experience.

Who hunted TaskGuy?

TaskGuy was hunted by Boston. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
