I built Tasa because most coding agents can complete tasks, but they do not truly improve from the work they have already done. They repeat the same mistakes, forget successful recovery patterns, and rely heavily on prompts or static memory.
Tasa is designed to learn within clear boundaries. New workflows and recovery policies are tested in isolated environments, compared against a baseline, and only activated when they prove they are safer or more effective.
The result is a local-first coding agent designed not just to remember what happened, but to learn what worked.
@feliznavidad48 this ia huge, and it's a crying shame it's bured so far down the list of today's products... when it comes time to launch, PLEASE consider:
1) including a more detailed description 2) adding more images attached to the launch listing, and ideally a short video 3) [optional, but makes a big difference...] hooking up with one of the top 3-5 Hunters on the site, most of whom offer a paid 1hr paid consultation call (note: paying for that call =/= they automatically agree to hunt the product for you, but having done one of those calls with the great @chrismessina - hia insights on best practices for this site - and product positioning/GTM in general! - were worth far more than the fee he charges for the consult call!)
-- I say this not to criticize you/throw shade, but, because Tasa looks like something special/unique amidst a sea of similar, and you deserve a higher spot, assuming the product ultimately does what you say it will!
Congrats on the launch, regardless! :D
Spent a few minutes poking around Tasa and the live image with CLOS providers feels really natural, like the agent actually understands Lisp semantics rather than just hacking through parentheses. The restart handling is a nice touch too.
Does this run against a local SBCL/Clozure CL instance on my machine, or does it spin up a hosted REPL somewhere I have to connect to?
finally a lisp coding agent that doesn't feel like a python script pretending. the live image and real CLOS support is refreshing.
Love that you kept it Lisp-native instead of bolting on a Python runtime. Live image and CLOS providers sound like exactly the right abstractions for a coding agent that actually understands the language.
finally a coding agent that gets lisp culture right with actual restarts and clos support, the live image feedback feels oddly natural after a few minutes of use
Finally a Lisp agent that feels like it belongs in the ecosystem rather than bolted on, and the live image plus CLOS providers actually worked when I poked at them.
