I’m Rocco, the creator of the Tarot Reading extension. I'm excited to share this project with you all today!
I’ve always been fascinated by Tarot—not as a fortune-telling device, but as a powerful psychological tool for introspection and self-reflection. I wanted to create a frictionless way to bring this mindfulness practice into our daily digital routines, directly in the browser.
But I also wanted to solve the biggest hurdle for beginners: interpreting the cards.
That’s where the modern twist comes in. I built a "Copy prompt for AI" feature. With a single click, the extension takes your optional question, the cards you just drew (including their upright/reversed orientations), and their core psychological archetypes ("Light" and "Shadow"), packaging them into a highly optimized prompt. You can drop it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and get a surprisingly deep, contextualized, and empowering reading.
