Most device-video tools are Mac-only and built for landscape desktop demos. App Store previews are 9:16. TapCraft runs in the browser. Drop in an Android or iOS screen recording, wrap it in a real Pixel / iPhone / Galaxy frame, add tap ripples (click to place, or import exact coordinates from adb), auto-zoom the camera, cover the recorder's red chip, and export 1080 or 2K. Free is unlimited and watermarked.

I kept searching for way to make App Store / Product Hunt clips of Android apps — and bouncing off the same wall: All available apps they're Mac-first and landscape-first. I ship on Windows. The recording is already 9:16. The taps already happened. So I built the thing I wanted: a browser studio that takes a raw screen recording and turns it into a device-framed launch video. The part I care about most is the taps. If you capture them over adb while you record, the ripples and the camera zoom land on the real coordinates — not a guess from the pixels. A form fill becomes one camera move, not five twitches. What's in this launch: - 15 device frames (Pixel, iPhone, Galaxy, OnePlus, Nothing, Xiaomi) - Auto-zoom that clusters nearby taps - Status bar replacement (kills the red recording dot) - Trim, backgrounds, optional music/voiceover on Pro - Unlimited free exports (watermarked). If you make mobile apps: what's the last clip you needed a tool like this for — store preview, TikTok, or a changelog?

Comment highlights

The 9:16 focus makes a lot of sense for App Store previews. Not having to fight with desktop first video editors would save a lot of time.
