TallyBar is a native macOS menu bar app for indie developers who sell or launch in more than one place. It checks App Store Connect, Gumroad, and Product Hunt and puts the useful part in one dropdown: today's sales, new reviews, launch votes, and comments. No TallyBar account, no telemetry, and no dashboard to babysit. The first release is $14 for the first 50 purchases ($19 after that).

Top comment

I built TallyBar because I kept opening three dashboards just to answer a simple question: did anything happen? The app is intentionally small. It lives in the menu bar, shows what changed, and gets out of the way. If you ship on App Store Connect, sell something on Gumroad, or run launches on Product Hunt, I'd love to know where the one-glance view falls short.

Who hunted TallyBar?

TallyBar was hunted by Jonathan Brito. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
