When Omegle shut down in 2023, I missed the simple thing it did well: one click and you're talking to a random person from somewhere else in the world.
So I built talktostrangersnow:
• Video or text chat, one-on-one with a random stranger
• Add interests (music, gaming, languages…) to match with people who share them
• Esc twice to skip to someone new, auto-match after a chat ends
• No account, no app, nothing to install, works on phones too
• Video chats are moderated live, with a one-click Report button
• Dark mode by default 🌙
It's free and runs entirely in the browser. I'd love your feedback, especially on the matching and on mobile. And if you try it, say hi to whoever you meet!
