Eight years ago, TalkClok started as an indie vision: waking up without screen fatigue, guided by a calm acoustic morning briefing. With zero marketing budget, the app was discovered by the blind community, becoming an essential daily companion for eyes-free morning independence.
Eight years later, we rebuilt TalkClok from the ground up in Swift & SwiftUI — serving as a technological showcase for modern iOS:
• True Accessibility: VoiceOver Audio Harmony with intelligent ducking (never clashes with the screen reader) and non-visual control without drag-and-drop.
• Apple CarPlay: Native dashboard and safe steering wheel controls for hands-free briefings on the road.

• 100% On-Device: EventKit & MapKit directly on the device, with zero cloud intermediaries or tracking.
